The smooth softness filled my body with warmth. My eyes were fixed on the horizon, as the sun materialized and rose higher into the sky like a balloon floating away in the distance. The deserted shore lured me to the glimmering lonesome ocean. As I made my way down the desolate beach, the combination of aromas wacked me in the face, which included: the fresh, thick moist air surrounding me; the inescapable stench of stomach churning seaweed. When I reached the sea, I admired the tranquillity of my surroundings. I dipped my toes into the frothy, icy water and an instant chill angrily shot up my spine due to the frozen sharp temperature of the weakening waves. I was able to identify the figures appearing ahead. They were three young men with their surfboards under arm, gearing up for a morning surf. Jogging towards the waters edge, the wild wind whistled through their vivid blonde hair, violently blowing it across their faces. It glowed luminously like a firefly in the night sky. Looking at my surroundings, I notice the families packing up their belonging after a tiresome day and disappearing distantly. Adolescent bodies begin to invade the coast, destructive intoxicated behaviour repel the people nearby, leaving only chaotic juveniles present†¦ I lie down, and try to block out the abusive slurred language echoing around me. The beach was no longer a room filled with laughter like earlier; instead it’s the opposite, a congested room of violence and commotion. The cool moist sand hugged my quivering body, as I lay there glancing upwards, questioning my presence was I safe? I close my eyes and visualize the luxurious heavenly atmosphere I was present in beforehand, and I let my mind wonder into the night
